A Counterfire day school where we will be discussing the history of Marxism and it’s relevance to the current turbulent political situation.

This is a free event and all are welcome!

Arrive from 12:30 for registration for a prompt 1pm start 

There will be a half hour break  – there are many cafes nearby or bring your own.

We will finish at 5:15 and there will be a social after the event

  • 2:15 – 2:45 lunch
  • 2:45 – 3:50 Palestine, Ukraine, imperialism and the drive to war – Chris Nineham – author, National officer of CF and Stop the War 
  • 4:00- 5:15 Revolutionaries and the United front – building the movements – John Rees – National officer CF, author, Islam Channel presenter
