We’ve heard a lot recently from politicians about how there is “no money” and how they are having to make difficult choices. Pensioners are to lose their winter heating allowance whilst energy prices are going up 10%. We’ve been told we can’t “afford” to reinstate the child benefit payments for the third plus child in a family.
One choice our politicians have never struggled with is to make massive investments in weapons of mass destruction.
