Following the killing of Sarah Everard, protesters are poised to #ReclaimTheseStreets in towns and cities across the country this weekend

The horrific killing of Sarah Everard and with the involvement of a police officer has rightly sparked outrage across the country. It is a sad reminder of the violence and oppression that women continue to face.

As Lindsey German argues, “we will only deal with these issues in any serious way when we bring about a transformation of society where our individual rights are protected as the result of collective struggle and change.”

#ReclaimTheseStreets protests and vigils have been called around the country for Saturday 13 March, most of them at 6pm. Below is a list of locations, if you can please get down to your nearest one (check details as some may be women-only and in case of cancellations) – they will be socially distanced and please wear a mask.
