I am writing to you to ask you to donate to Counterfire’s fighting fund
We have reached 70% of our target. Now we need to get over the line. Given the turmoil in the world, a stronger radical left is quite simply essential.
We are fighting on many fronts. Counterfire has been at the heart of the Palestine movement, some of our members have faced police interviews as a result, and in my case a trial.
We are campaigning to defend the right to protest, and as Starmer pushes his military agenda we are promoting the Stop the War campaign calling for welfare not warfare.
Around the country our members support every strike, picket line, protest and campaign.
Our expanded free paper is more popular than ever, thousands read our website every week. We are growing.
The reality is that to make that growth count we urgently need more staff and more resources.
It is essential that we hit our target. Please help us get there today and share the appeal widely.
