Over a year into Israel’s genocide in Gaza, 43,000 Palestinians are dead and the war has extended to Lebanon, Iran, Yemen and across the Middle East. A global movement in solidarity with the Palestinians of unprecedented intensity and duration has emerged and Israel has faced condemnation from the International Criminal Court and International Court of Justice.

Yet the war goes on and the slaughter of Palestinians continues. After a year of demonstrations many people in the movement are asking what more can be done to stop the war and how can we escalate the protests?

Come and hear author and activist Chris Nineham examine the experience of the Vietnam war, of how the US Empire was ultimately defeated by the combination of Vietnamese resistance, a revolt by American GI’s and a mass anti-war movement back in the US.
