But why does sexism persist? How can it be successfully confronted and beaten?

Kate Connelly is the author of a forthcoming book on the great suffragette leader Sylvia Pankhurst (out this autumn) and she will be visiting Newcastle to explain her ideas, informed by the lessons of past struggles.
