UnionNews reports on Unilever workers’ protest outside the firm’s offices in a dispute over pensions. Unite, Usdaw and the GMB unions are preparing for a series of strikes.
Union members from factories across the country travelled on an open top bus chanting: “Where’s our pension gone” and carrying banners with the slogan “Hands off our Pensions”.
The protest follows a decision at the weekend to call a series of strikes at factories for up to 12 days starting on January 17.
